Our Story
We met on a cold night in Fort McMurray. The oil sand plants were shut down do to the -45 weather. Jeff had gone out with his co-workers and I was out with some girlfriends. First Jeff was interested in my friend and his friend was hitting on me. However, when we noticed each other it was as if nothing else mattered. We spent the whole night together and eventually it ended after driving him home. I immediately went home and told my mother I had met the man I was going to marry. We have been together ever since.
He proposed at a look out spot in Calgary and made a point of all the doors that are open out there waiting for us and that there will always be lights on for us for the rest of our lives. It was absolutely breath taking.
